Im close to passing my first kidney stone. i'm really scared?

my doctor told me on this past monday that i have a UTI (urinary tract infection) he prescribed me an antibiotic but no pain killer. . i went to the er that night for excruciating pain in my right lower abdomen and lower back. while there they explained to me that i also had a kidney infection after having given me a cat scan. i went in at 2:30am and was released around 5:30am. well later yesterday afternoon. the head radiologist called me to let me know that they hadn't seen it the first time they looked at the cat scan, but that i had a 1 mm kidney stone that could pass in a couple day. well now every time i pee i'm so scared that it will pass. i have no idea what to expect. i was prescribed vikoden for the pain but i don't like the way it made me feel. it kinda got rid of the pain but not completely. the radiologist gave me the number to a urologist and to call this morning, I know talking to him will help. but i'm still incredibly scared. Any advice? btw i'm a 20 year old female
