I feel really guilty! HELP!?

I used to do this activity and stopped it for about 2 years then rejoined it. I also volunteer now and I was asked to teach a student something. I accidentally taught something wrong and I feel sooo guilty! I don't want to tell anyone I made a mistake because they'll lose faith in me and I'm already struggling to catch up because of my 2-year break. The thing is, the student's father is also a teacher and I'm afraid I'm going to get into trouble or even worse, they'll be disappointed and not trust me anymore. I'm also afraid that the student is going to do the thing I taught them in another class and then be told that it was wrong and then he'll blame it on me, and the teacher will too... HELP! How do I stop feeling guilty and make sure I still have the trust of all of the teachers??
